March, 2020: Health Minister Dr Zahid Maleque on Sunday said the data
management under the ministry will be made online.
The government pledged to make Bangladesh digital which now
turns into reality, he said.
The minister made the statement while addressing the
inaugural ceremony of data management programme of Tangail district family
planning and maternal and child health and reproductive department through
video conference at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital.
He also said, “Old method of data management is problematic.
Manual register takes a heavy toll on field level workers. As a result,
formulating right action plan, work roasters and preparing reports were tedious
job and time consuming. From now on, it will not be anymore.”
