2019: Social organisation Quantum Foundation on Sunday accorded a reception
to voluntary blood donors for their outstanding contributions to the
humanitarian movement.
Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, editor of Daily Sun, was present as
the chief guest while Quantum Foundation Advisor Sukumar Chakraborty chaired the
programme at Quantum Meditation Hall in the capital. Blood donation programme
coordinator Masuda Abedin was also present.
A total of 105 blood donors received the honour with
certificate and crest.
Addressing the function, Enamul Hoque Chowdhury appreciated
the nobel initiative of the organisation as well as gave thanks to the blood
donors. He also mentioned that the award programme will encourage others to
contribute to create a positive society.
Officials informed that, over 0.3 million blood donors and
53.5 thousands lifetime members are directly associated with Quantum Foundation
blood donation programme.
